Hood Calorie Countdown Chocolate NEW STATS
Has anyone noticed this?
I picked up a carton the other day at Wal-Mart and I wanted to make sure it really was MY kind (I don't know what I thought it would be. Maybe a full sugar version? I dunno). Anyway, I noticed now it says 6g of protein per cup instead of 8. Just to be sure I googled the packaging and it did, in fact, used to say 8 at one point. I wonder why the change?
Anyway, just thought I'd let you know. It's still a damn good caloric value for chocolate milk and a great base for my protein shakes!
For those that don't know what this is, it's a dairy drink that comes in chocolate and plain skim and 2%. It has WAY less carbs than regular milk (but don't drink the plain skim as regular milk...trust me on this one. It's like drinking cloudy water). I like the chocolate just as a drink and the skim for protein shakes. The skim has 45 calories, 3g of carbs, 8g protein vs. 80 cals, 12g carbs, 8g protein for skim. The chocolate has 90 calories, 3g carbs, and now 6g protein. Boo!
