What are you eating/doing today? Monday!
Doing: a whole bunch of stuff I should have done yesterday. Pack for my upcoming trip to Peoria, IL (anyone near there, HOLLA! I'll be there for about five days), packing the kids to go to grandma's house, support group and I promised the little diva we could swim at the Y. Wow. That's a lot.
Anyway, eats. A whole frickin lot less than this weekend, that's for DAMN sure.
1. two eggs over medium + 1 slice wheat toast
Not sure about the rest of the day but I'm craving meat so...there ya go.

Lunch will be leftover steak smothered w/ black beans, salsa and hot sauce and I will also eat some watermelon.
I will probably eat a couple string cheese sticks or some fresh fruit between lunch and dinner.
Dinner will be pork loin, potatoes and leftover marinated asparagus that my husband cooked over the grill last night.
Later in the evening I will probably eat a protein bar.
Between meals I will drink tons of iced tea w/ Crystal Light lemonade added to it. Mmmm.....
Breakfast: Cracked black pepper turkey and alpine lace swiss cheese roll ups.
Lunch: Left over pot roast
Dinner: Looking for suggestions
Lunch will be tuna sushi and miso soup.
Dinner - a salad, with some chicken or some other protein and Ken's fat free raspberry pecan dressing.
Watermelon for snack, or maybe some rice cakes with peanut butter at some point.
Working on my second twenty ounces of water right now.
Still trying to recover from my 5 mile walk yesterday. Gotta kick it in gear! Hey guess what? A good workout curbs my appetite. DING!! hello? Thats what Ive been missing!
So Nik, I listend to your post the other day and I grabbed myself a bag of carrots for my mindless noshing.
Today's eats:
1. Almond Biscotti Protein shake :)
2. Drinkig my coffee
3. Greek yogurt with Kashi Go Lean Crunch and carrots
4. I have a cheese stick and strawberries if I need
5. Meatballs w/ marinara and 1/2 cup protein plus penne
I got myself in a bit of trouble with those carrots. I made…THE BEST GUACAMOLE EVER!!! And have been noshing on carrots/guac. Granted, it has added protein in it, but still, I think guac is my new PB.
I notice that I do that. When I swear off PB, I immediately latch onto some other source of fat. I honestly think my body still malabsorbs fat to a good degree (not to get too gross on you, but let’s just say my output seems to suggest it), so I wonder if that’s why I crave fats. Not fried food, etc., but nuts, avocado, nut butters, etc.
“Food" for thought. Anyway, anyone interested I’m going to post the guac recipe this week on Bariatric Foodie.
