Want to thank you all

I did read all the responses to my earlier posts but I'm feeling too mentally exhausted to respond to each one.  I read them, though, and they all meant something to me.  I got some good ideas and plan to really stress to my psychiatrist tomorrow that I need to get in to a counselor right away.

Also, I called a suicide hotline - not because I am suicidal right now, but because I was feeling pretty desparate and needed to know what to do - and the guy suggested calling the United Way and said they should be able to refer me to other agencies that may be able to get me in sooner than December.  So I will do that in the morning.  And it just helped to have someone to talk to in the middle of the night - it gets lonely when I can't sleep and my partner has to go to bed because he has to get up in the morning for work.

And I see my psych doc tomorrow and am asking for something stronger for anxiety and to help me sleep.

Thanks to everyone for being there for me.  I can't tell you how much it means to me.  I have a very small support system in "real life."

I'm so glad you're seeing your psych again and that you are going to follow up with all the advice. You are important to me and I want you to be well. Let us know how it goes tomorrow. Hope you get some sleep tonight.

Hugs and prayers sent your way.  I am glad you are being proactive with your mental health.  I have suffered from depression all my adult life, and commend you for reaching out on here and talking openly about it with others.  I found that  when I don't talk and express what I am feeling that  I fall deeper and deeper into the abyss.

I am glad you are getting in to the psych tomorrow - please keep us all updated.  Don't ever feel like you are alone.  If you ever need to talk, vent etc.  Please feel free to PM me.

Will be thinking of you and keeping you close in prayer.

Kelly you know you are in my thoughts and prayers. I didn't get on OH much yesterday so I'm not up on whats going on but I'm glad you are taking things into your own hands and asking for what you need.

I know your loneliness in the middle of the nights. It sucks.

Hang in there. It doesn't seem like it but it WILL get better. It has to.
