Pre-Op Weight Loss

The only reason I lost weight before surgery is because #1. I had to do a 6-month supervised diet and #2. My surgeon required a ten day pre-op diet and I lost 14lbs on that.  So you will be alright and you are doing well since you have already lost 10 lbs and have not started your liquid diet yet.  You are doing good.

I was told to lose 15lbs for surgery but haven't gotten motivated to try yet.  My husband keeps pressuring me about being committed and all that but it's hard when surgery is still in the slightly distant future.  I feel a bit overwhelmed by it and also annoyed because if it were that easy for me to drop the weight on command then I wouldn't be where I am now!

Any suggestions any of you could provide would be welcome!
