Healthy(er) Lasagna
Boy am I glad not many people here know me from my first year on OH. I'd have to eat humble pie big time.
I recently made this for my family:
It's a lasagna. Not a no-noodle or a zucchini lasagna. A regular lasagna, made with better ingredients (my inner carbophobe just got the vapors!).
Some of us like what we like. My oldest daughter is one of those. So when she asked me for a "regular lasagna" I had to say yes. She's tried in earnest to like all the lasagna-esque creations I've made to this point after all.
Today on Bariatric Foodie, I go over how to make this delicious delight. Check it out!

I am a fool and a sucker for lasagna! I've tried noodleless lasagna before but it's just not the same, I definitely agree with the Diva.
Your recipe sounds delish. I make my "Healthy Lasagna" very similar, except I skip the water and add in a small can of tomato paste to make the sauce thicker so the lasagna stays together well. Oh, and I've never used Turkey Sausage but I might try that next time.
Oh, and also if you wanna try something a little different. Try using reduced fat Cream Cheese instead of ricotta. It gives it a certain subtle tang that is AMAZING!!
But, who am I to give the famous Nik recipe advice? LOL

Who are you to give me advice? You are YOU, that's who!
Where do you think my ideas come from? Certainly not my warped mind. :)
