Starting Today I Will.......

#1....Track everything.  I'm only 6 weeks out.  Now that I'm having "meals" I've got to get into some kind of routine to keep up with everything that goes in my mouth. 

#2...Exercise.  Finally have my energy back from surgery.  I've asked a friend to walk with me in the mornings before work and for 2 days I have been stood up.  My ex-friend now wants to walk in the afternoon.  Can't do it!  I will get up every morning at 5 am with or without her and I will walk.  Buying pepper spray today!! LOL

#3...Scales.  I HATE THE SCALE.  It goes up a pound, down a pound.  What is its freaking problem???  I will only weigh twice a week...maybe 3 times...but no more...unless I feel really skinny in the mornings.  I think I need someone to hide them!

#4...Protein.  I will drink my protein drink EVERY day.  I bought Body Fortress yesterday with 54 grams plus milk.  That's almost my whole day worth.  I will NOT use that dang blender again.  YUK!

Well...I think that's it.  Now if I can get someone to come knock off the water nazi that sits next to me at work.  If she tells me to drink my water one more time, I'm going to drown her in it.  JK!  I'm thankful for her or I would never get it in.

Sounds like a great plan. And probably good advice for all of us. I can't resist the scale though. If my weight has stalled or even increased a little, I have a pity party for about 2 minutes and then get determined to work harder that day. Exercise more/harder.

FWIW, I walk right after sundown. There's still enough light, but the heat (I'm in AL) isn't so bad. Tried walking at lunch but there's just no way I can do it right now. I'm struggling to stay hydrated as it is.

OMG!  The heat is TERRIBLE.  We spent 8 hours Saturday at a ballfield and I swear that I lost 2 sizes just sitting there.  Of course, they found their way home Sunday morning.  It's miserable!

I had my 5 week checkup yesterday and they told me to get off all protein powder. There's NO way I'm going to do that! I have about 1/2 a tub of birthday cake, mint mocha, and unflavored left and 2 days ago, I ordered 2 things of click powder because it was finally on sale cheap enough for me to afford! I'm going to use up my powder for sure! LOL

The birthday cake, mint mocha, and unflavored are all About Time protein powder. I got the birthday cake and the mint mocha flavors from www.luckyvitamin.com cause it was cheaper than ordering them from the www.tryabouttime.com website at the time. But when I went to order the unflavored powder from lucky vitamin, they didn't have any of the ner flavors (peanut butter, banana, chocolate peanut butter, and unflavored), so I had to order my unflavored from try about time. I have been mixing 8oz 1% milk, 5 ice cubes, 1tsp sugar free caramel syrup, 1tsp benefiber, 1 scoop birthday cake protein powder, 1 scoop of the Vanilla Latte powder in a blender and then topping with whipped cream and the squeezable sugar free caramel ice cream topping! That is a solid plan,  but i would do one thing, don't be too concerned with the scale.

today was the first time i got on one in well over 4 - 6 weeks, it will drive you crazy if you go one one all the time
