My mini-goal is the be able to do the elliptical for 30 minutes.  I can do 10 minutes and most of it is while calling on Jesus.  So my goal is to get to 30.  I don't like to exercise, but I feel so much better afterward.  I can do the treadmill on hills for a 3 miles at interval incline and 2.9-3.5 in speed so I'm working on it.

You can do it !!!  I started off real small too. I used to be dying at the end of 15 mins on the elliptical. About 2 months later i was able to hum along at 60 mins with no death imminent.  Today I do 90 mins between the elliptical and cross trainer.  And trust me.. if someone as out of shape like me can do it .. you are a guaranteed success !!!!!

you guys that do the elliptical have my respect.  That is onething I avoid like the plague.  I tried it a few times and my legs hated me for it.

To get a bike and ride ride ride.  I have a 2 mile route that I walk around my block, but if I get the bike, I can maybe get up at 5am and bike before work.  Starting to save my $ now!!

My mini goal is to lose 4 more lbs. That will put me at 224. I know Ive been 225 before...maybe for only a day, but I know Ive seen it. 224 will be my lowest known adult weight (including high school).

I hit some kind of foolishness in my head a couple weeks ago and have not been eating well. Pretty much just been having what ever I feel like (Damn the person who invented those friggin Mint Oreos! hmm, and funny I dont dump on Oreos) I did talk to myself and have been doing MUCH better this week.

One day at a time, one meal at a time.

Another very short goal is to workout today, tomorrow and saturday. Ive got two days down and I NEED to get to 5 days a week.

AND GET MY BUT WALKIN or Im gonna die come September!! I was doing so well, then I got sick...blah, blah, now its hot, wah, wah, wah.

I also need to stop being jealous and wishing I was one of those people who the weight just flys off like magic. Thats not the journey I was given. I was given this cause Im strong enough to do it.

I love mini-goals. Mine right now is to run at least 3 times a week for the month of June. That's it. Just three times a month. Anything over that is a "bonus".  My other mini-goal is to swim laps one time a week. That's it, just one time a week. LOL. See, I'm working up to this gradually. I'm so bad about jumping in to things with both feet and then burning out fast. So I'll start slowly and make it a habit before I increase what I'm doing. LOL. At least that's my story and I'm sticking to it!

LOL. I forgot to write that one down. I'm training for a tri. LOL. Just a small local one, and I have almost a year to do it. But I do hope to run my 1/2 marathon this October.

SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET!  I was training for my first Tri which was to be on Sunday but I got sidelined by the doctors.  So I just set my goals higher and found a different Tri to do which is going to be the Augusta Half Ironman in 2012, yes I am that nuts!
