Birthday update from yesterday's Rant!!

You would think that guys would learn.  How much effort does it take to send a text?  He didn't have a problem sending me one yesterday asking what was for dinner??  Guess I know where the priorities lay.

Sorry you had to endure this.  My EX-husband used to forget mine all the time.  One year he actually argued with me that it couldn't possibly be my birthday again.  My birthday is February 13th (the day before Valentine's Day), so I kept my mouth shut and yes...he did nothing for Valentine's Day either.  Remember...I said my EX.  LOL

There is a reason they are EX husbands.

On my last birthday, my BF decided he didn't feel like going out so I took MYSELF to dinner.

oh Tonya. i'm so sorry the hubs forgot your special day BUT i'm glad the kids remembered it, even w/a little coaching.

your hubs should be in the dog house for a long time. he should do some kind of pennance, too....you pick the punishment.....lol.

SOrry you had a lousy B-day. My ex did the same thing. He "forgot" my b-day three years running and when he would discover why I was so quiet a few days after he would be like "it is only a birthday". Yet always without fail if I didnt acknowledge his he went off on a pissfit. My hubby now always starts with his preparations like 2 weeks before. THings like dinner and gifts are always thought out and well planned. I love him t ieces for it. And I have NEVER seen a man get so mad in my life when he asks if there is anything i want or need and I tell him no- most of the time there isnt anything I want or need. He will get so mad. I hope NEXT year you have it better. Start dropping hints a few weeks before. THey will not forget then and if they do make them clean their own messes and do their own stuff instead of mom and wifey doing it. Go on strike.

I would take his clean underwear take it outside and rub some poisin ivy all over the inside then put it back in his drawer. Or  not do any of his laundry and when he asks why just say I haven't had time to fool with it today.

Oh I love that idea.  Bet he would have time to scratch his butt if I did that.

Mine forget my birthday ........... His is Sept 27th  and mine is Sept 29th.
