Sugar free bbq sauce

I am going to a cookout tonight and they are going to cook me a chicken thigh with bbq sauce on the grill. I told the cooks I would bring my own sugar free bbq sauce. Anyone know of any brand that is very low sugar or sugar free? Can I just buy it at a regular grocery store?

My local store doesn't carry it, but I've found I don't have issues with BBQ sauce even though I usually dump on more than 5g of sugar.

You could maybe make your own?  I remember seeing on Nik's blog a recipe for BBQ sauce.  I don't have the link handy right now though.

Thanks to both of you. I will look for the kraft one. Keep suggestions coming.

Also, do you guys think having a little corn on the cob would be okay?

i probably wouldnt try it because raw fruit has been giving me a stomach ache and corn has that skin on it...a bite or 2 should let you know if your body will like it

I bought the "Walden Farms" BBQ sauce 2 weeks ago.
I bought it at Shoprite (which is in NJ).
Haven't tried it yet but some of their other items are quite good.  Its for diabetics so NO CARBS, NO CALORIES, NO SUGAR.

My favorite is Stubbs Original BBQ. 9g carbs, 3g sugar.

I used to find the Walden Farms stuff to be gross. However, post surgery I have much less taste for sweet stuff and the strong spicyness of the Walden Farms BBQ Sauce had been really nice. Better to try that than mess around with a reduced sugar one. If you like it you don't have to worry at all its a total "freeby".

With the issues you have had with food, I think corn on the cob would be a hugely bad idea. I would also suggest you have your chicken without sauce. I don't think the sugar in the barbecue sauce would be as big an issue as the spices irritating your pouch.
