This morning my urine was practically brown and I've never had that before. Any thoughts?

Also my back has been hurting in the last week or so...sooooooooooo bad. It's my lower back. Any idea why??? Or how to relieve that pain??

I'd be concerned about your kidneys.  I think you should head to the dr. right away!

Brown urine could mean that there is blood in it.  Combined with your back hurting you may have a kidney infection or kidney stones.  Get to the doctor STAT! :)  Best of luck. :)

Could be dehydration and/or kidney infection.  If you are getting in your 64 oz of fluid each day, then I would just go straight to the Dr. It could be a serious infection.

My doc always warns if your urine is darker than apple juice you are not drinking enough.  KT you have been at this for a moment now.  Get it together and sip sip sip.  Huggz

It sounds like something going on with your kidneys.  I'd be heading to the doctor NOW.  Brown urine can mean a few things including kidney problems, blood in your urine and dehydration.  All of which can be caused by kidney issues.  How is your water intake?  The back pain makes me think it could be a stone or a kidney infection.  Do not walk, run to the doctor.  Are you running a fever?  If not I'd lean more towards stones than an infection.  Liver issues can also cause dark urine.  Either way, I'd get off OH and head to the doctor.  If your surgeon won't see you then go to your PCP or Urgent Care.  If it's an infection that is something you do NOT want to play with. It doesn't take much for that infection to spread and become life threatening. If it's stones you'd rather know so they can treat you. They are painful yes, but knowing you have them is half the battle.  If it is something like dehydration then you need an IV.  I would say if it is to the point your urine is brown dehyrdation is pretty severe.

I wish you the best no matter what it is.  I'm hoping you aren't reading this and are sitting in the doctor's office right now.
