What is your favorite Dinner Recipe?
How are you feeling? I hope things are better for you now.
You could make a taco salad w/out the taco shell/chips. We use ground turkey, lettuce shreds, purple onion, tomato, salsa-so yummy. Or you could make salmon with teriyaki sauce and some steamed veggies. Chinese chicken salad w/shredded carrots, scallions, Newman's lowfat sesame ginger dressing. We make a lot of different chillis. One has lots of peppers (yellow, orange, red), tomatoes, white beans, onion, chilli powder, and we sprinkle with raw onions and lite shredded cheese. I make a turkey sausage w/zuchini (not a soup, more like a stew, and it is heavenly) It's from one of my bariatric cookbooks. Let me know if you'd like the recipe and I'll post it!

The 2 cookbooks that I seem to enjoy the most are:- "Eating Well After Weight Loss Surgery" by Patt Levine & Michele Bontempo-Saray and the sausage recipe is on page 98 and called "Sausage & Ricotta Giardiniera." Delicious!!! The other cookbook is, "Weight Loss Surgery Cookbook for Dummies." I love the Swiss Oatmeal on page 127 for breakfast. And I've been wanting to make the Berrycotta Pancakes too! Enjoy! I have a few other cookbooks, but don't seem to enjoy them as well.
