I just polished off the other half of a Reuben I ate for lunch. It was yummy.

I may have some cottage cheese later. Not sure.

My first dinner was Greek yogurt with flax, banana protein powder and blueberries... so good.
Later I may get some beef (really crave beef). or some other meat .. with a min amount of veggies.

Me too. And my pouch is starting to make friends with beef (in some forms). Corned beef and deli roast beef are ok. In some quantities ground beef is ok. Steak is still a no-go no matter how well I chew it. Sigh...

I ate steak last weekend. Mid- rare steak.. 6 oz... one sitting. Took me 45 min.. and I was full for 12 hrs after that....lol... (I was still digesting it the next morning. )
But -
only filet - tenderloin
it has to be almost rare
it has to be good quality...(yep, not from frozen... ) - aged preferable...
it has to be with spices - marinated (predigested)
I need to have wine with it (wine opens my stoma) - or have wine befor the steak
I need to eat it very slowly...and chew very well
and I can't eat anything with it or after it for at least 12 hrs...

even one of these condiotions are not met - and I end up in a horrible pain... for hours,,,

So I do not have steak very often but I still love it.  This year I had steak 2 times...

corned beef? yummmy..... deli roast - not so much.  Unless incorporated into eggbites.
But beef roast - o yea... bring it on... again - I can only eat it by itself... with nothing.... and do not need wine...

Leftover baked haddock (cold) wrapped in romaine lettuce with some seasoned greek yogurt (seasoned with the dry Good Seasons Italian dressing spices) instead of mayo. A side of sliced cucumbers and red pepper strips. So glad I can have raw veggies now!

I gave my ex-wife the last of the crock pot cooking from this past weekend.  I'd been gnashing on it since Saturday morning.  I grabbed a "dude food" from the pantry for myself had it with a cheddar stick.

Never, and I mean NEVER, trust a fart!!

Borscht, which is not a huge protein source (mostly vegetable soup with a titch of meat for taste), but I had beef stew for lunch, and will have a  protein shake for evening snack, so all is well. Have been craving the veggies lately-- I figure I should listen to my bod.
