Three things I NEVER put in my protein shake...
I found this one...hard to read the NUT info, but what do you think?

I do the Half frozen Banana thing usually but prior to a a race I may sometimes do a whole banana. As for the Peanutbutter well I am so guilty of that but I admit that the extra 100 calories is used to get me closer to my daily calorie requirment which I struggle to meet.
I admit my shakes are relatively high in calories compared to most but again I fight to get the calories I need and often am at to high of a deficit so like usualy I find what works and stick with it.
But over all I totally agree and follow the same rules when I am not working out or training.

Well I should have said it depends on your particular activity level as well. Higher calorie/fat/carb shakes work differently in the bodies of people who work out.
So you're right (as per usual).

no, you are right as usual
.
Your guidlines are great and ones that I did and still do follow when I am less active. Activity levels like I typically maintain tend to be in the minority so I don't recomend people follow me as they probably aren't in a gym for 2 hours burning 900 - 1100 calories with a firly decent RMR.
but was pointing out that some people may need to tailor things based on other factors, and can get higher calories while still making smart choices.

You don't have a GoWear do you? I'd love to know how much you burn a day.
My metabolism is CRAZY. But it doesn't lead to any weight loss anymore. My typical daily burn is about 2700-3000 a day. I eat about 1500-1700 a day. This means nothing to my body. Go figure.

Half a frozen banana - check. Choco-banana or banana/mango are 2 of my favs. Sadly the bananas I have at the moment are greener than green so I'll have a few days to wait.
No PB - check. I used to put about a tablespoon of PB into my shakes until one morning I went a little crazy and put in too much and dumped like a mac truck. Now I am a little skittish about eating it at all :(
No milk powder - check. Considering I wouldn't even know where to find this in my supermarket I can easily say it will never cross my lips.
I do like to add greek yogurt to my vanilla based shakes, makes it creamier. I *wish* I could find SF jello pudding mix around here in flavors other than choc/vanilla/pistachio/butterscotch....but, alas I may be heading to the internet for those.
