This thread is to support those doing the C25K, no matter where you are in the process!

So do you have a plan of action in place or are you just winging it? Ie days of the week path, music

Well, for my runs, I plan to do Th, Sat, and Mon...those are the days that work best in my already overloaded schedule.  I found some music on the internet for C25K and downloaded that.  I enjoyed the upbeat tempo and found it helpful that it told me when to switch from walk to run and back.  I thought it made my workout much more enjoyable than when I had to watch the clock to make the changes!

I really only have one place to run...through my neighborhood, but I at least have 4 streets to choose from so I can vary the scenery.

Yesterday was week 1 day 1 for me and I loved it!  it felt so good to be outdoors and exercising;' the weather was beautiful.

I'm currently at the end of week 3.  This is my 2nd time through th program, but the first post-WLS.  I'm not as disciplined as I should be but am getting in lots of otehr exercise during the week **** hockey and skating 2X/week and jiu jitsu 2X/week).  I should be at the end of Week 4 but have slacked a little, LOL.

It's a great program and I've run in a few 5K races thanks to the training.

Good luck!

I'm only at the beginning of week two of the program. I've actually been trying to run/jog every day but my personal trainer and doctor have officially told me that I need to take at least two days off a week so I don't injure my joints. Especially my ankles. Mostly I run on a treadmill. I'd love to run outside more but I live in Washington and everything around me is all hills. It's one thing running...don't think I can handle running up hills yet. =P For music, I have a whole work out play list that I made months ago when I first started working out with my personal trainer. I keep it up beat with a lot of Lady Gaga and fast rock music.

I think it's an amazing program and I just love the iPhone app!
