5 months out -- what to eat or try?
I am 9mths out and with this surgery trying new foods is a trial and error game. I introduced lettuce/salads in the 5mth basically because it got my system going. I was having issues with constipation and salads help. I make sure i have at least one a week. I am still trying new things and seeing how my pouch will react and I have been extremely blessed with no complications or major issues so far... Good Luck

I don't have any issues with salad though obviously other things seem to go down much easier.
I can pretty much eat anything and everything. I don't seem to have any dumping or limitations at this point. I wish I didn't know that and had spent more time on the limited diet. While it seems boring and bland, it was much healthier and kept me in check. I feel like the first year is when it is easiest and we should maximize weight loss. Now, I can eat bread, crackers, pizza etc and its like pre-surgery again where I have to watch myself. Luckily I'm back on track. They are right when they say its a tool and you still have to work at it!
