Meal Questions
I'm on pureed phase now. Should I be getting a "meal' in? For example today I have had 1 protein shake for breakfas****er in between, now I'm having some applesauce for lunch, will have water, then I'm going to try to do some tuna/egg salad for dinner. Should I be trying to have a meat, veggie, and starch at each meal or is this phase just adjusting to food??? I'm averaging losing a pound a day which I'm happy with but I'm so drained. Am I not doing this right?

You may be tired because you're not getting enought protein. You should try having some protein every time you eat -- instead of applesauce (no protein) for lunch, try something like cottage cheese, greek yogurt, or another protein shake. Instead of 3 meals right now, you may need to have 5 or 6 minii-meals to get in all the protein you need every day. Concentrate on protein and fluids first and not so much on sticking to a traditional 3-meal-a-day schedule.
im over 2 months out and i dont eat traditional meals ever....if its not protein it doesnt go in my mouth...well actually thats kinda a lie i will every once in a while eat some salad but only with chicken or something protein on it..and its mostly the protein and actually very little salad...its odd how much i actually miss fruits and veggies...for a ex junk food addict that is!
