I have just 3 more days before my surgery! It was originally scheduled for 12pm but they have a cancellation and I have been moved up to 9:30 am! I am so excited! I have to be at the hospital at 7:30 am! This should be fun seeing as I have to drop my kids of at 5:30 am so they can get to school and the sitter for the surgery! I am still super excited! I think I will be nervous on Thursday tho! I am doing great on my 2 week liquid diet! I haven't cheated or anything! I am surprised because for a day there I was seriously craving Roasted Turkey Breast! I can't believe it's almost here!! Yay Me!

Good luck Jeanine! You will do great. I just had RNY on 5/2 so I'm very familiar with all the emotions. It will be over before you know it and you'll continue your journey to a healthier life.

Congrats!

YAY!! You will do great! Be sure to take your pain meds on schedule. And walk as soon as you are able! It does help with getting the air in the abdomen absorbed post surgery. Bring lip balm - you will be dry...You will be nervous, that is expected. Just breathe......ahh......and soon, you will be on the other side and getting adjusted to all the new changes. We will be thinking of you....congratulations!! Keep us posted.....

You will do great.  My two week liquid diet starts May 23rd.  I have been trying to cut out one meal a day and replace it with a protein shake.  Today I had a shake for lunch.  By the time dinner came around I was so huuuungry I overate on chicken vegies and salad.  How did you keep your hunger under control?  Did you supplement with broth or soups? I'm more frieghtened of the liquid diet than I am of the actual surgery.

Thank you all!
@Cupcake- I just drank alot of fluids to keep full...I drank my protein for my "meals" and in between meals I sipped sipped sipped! I did have a day when I really really (almost could've Killed) wanted a roasted turkey breast! I drank some broth and was good with that! You will do fine just sip constantly!
@LadyLithia- Thank you for such a wonderful compliment. I have been so stressed lately that your words cheered me up!
