Is there an actual DIFFERENCE in Click Protein?
Does it not taste like icky protein or anything? I know a lot of people are a fan of it. I need a good protein still. Does it not have an aftertaste? Lots of people talk about it. Is it really better than any old regular protein? I love coffee flavored things. Is that the only reason people like it? If so I could get the cappucino nectar? Or should I go with click?
It has a VERY strong coffee flavor (which probably hides the protein taste). It also has a LOT of caffeine!!!
Coffee is one of the 5 things that makes my pouch cranky (and that includes Click) so I don' drink it.

You don't drown by falling in the water. You drown by staying there.
I recently ordered and tried Click. I LOVE IT!! I have a cup every morning. On the down side it only has 15 grams of protien vs the 26 of my regular drink. To me it has no aftertaste. I only taste the coffee. It also mixes really well and I have noticed that it does not seperate like my other protien drinks either. I am a fan and will continue to drink it for as long as I need a protien suppliment.
Click has caffeine. I would not use it as a main protein source personally. It has more calories and less protein than the Syntrax nectar cappucino (120 cal with 15gm protein for two scoops vs. 100 calories and 24 gm protein for one scoop cappucino). I am in the minority that doesn't love Click on its own. If I need a little pick me up, I'll add a scoop of click to my cappucino. I do love the nectar cappucino. I make mine with half milk, half water--a little splenda and yummy. You can also just do a vanilla from syntrax nectar and flavor with decaf instant coffee and sugar free caramel or vanilla davinci syrup for yummy caramel macchiatto or vanilla latte sort of treats loaded with protein.
Good luck!

Huh.
It may well be that the coffee taste masks the protein taste. I hadn't considered that, only know that I am a hardcore Click junkie. I mean, like I think I need an intervention. When I run out and don't have another jar ready, life just isn't worth living.
And since it's expensive, this is not just a tongue in cheek kind of addiction problem.
I actually had a nightmare where I was waiting by my door for my Click delivery, and when it came I opened the jar and there was only enough powder in it for two servings. I realized that to increase profits, rather than raise their price the shadowy figures of the international Click cartel had reduced the amount in each container.
I woke up screaming...

I mix my click with 16oz of skim milk and ice. It doubles the protein and gives me my coffee shop as well ad 16oz of fluid. I recommend finding more then one that you like. Get samples from a bunch of companies. Most are free or really cheap. Follow the link for a list to start from.

Keep in mind I am a Foodie (a...Bariatric Foodie...lol) but here's my four cents. A few key differences:
1. Click is made of casein. In general I find casein protein a little less gnarly all by itself.
2. It has something in it (can't tell what from the ingredients list) that makes it thicken like a shake. It also doesn't tend to foam up when blended and is downright easy to make hot with a few simple steps.
3. They actually use ESPRESSO not coffee. There is a difference. You can tell. Espresso goes very well with chocolate but I love Click because they actually got the proportions right (too much espresso and it's bitter...too little and it just tastes like a really good chocolate flavor).
Having said that...NO CLICK FOR YOU YET! You got too many pouch issues to even begin thinking about drinking caffeine and this stuff has the amount of a TRIPLE SHOT of espresso.
But yes...it is yummy. I'm sorry you can't be a part of the yumminess yet but think of it this way...these would be your last days before you become a Clickhead. Us Clickheads have hard lots in life. We are slaves to Amazon sales and free shipping offers.
