Egg or no egg

I can only handle them if they are soft scrambled with cheese.  I tried a fried egg the other day that got stuck and I thought I was going to die.  I also made the breakfast bites on Eggface's blog and those stayed down pretty well.  I just modified the recipe to my tastes.  They were delicious!

i haven't tried a fried egg but i had soft scrambled two weeks out and i was fine. i added shredded lf cheese. people at my support group add a little part skim ricotta cheese to it to make it more fluffy and soft to go down

Just like all food, some people handle one thing some another. I could eat eggs for at least a month but two of my friends were eating them at two weeks. My biggest problem was I couldnt handle any chicken for almost 2 months.

I could eat scrambled eggs after about a month, I think, but I still can't eat hard-boiled eggs. I tried one a few weeks ago, and chewed and chewed and it still felt like a lead weight in my chest.

I've heard that some people have an easier time with Eggbeaters.

I was able to tolerate the first egg without any problem. The second time it felt like I ate that same egg for 12 hours. I waited till last Saturday to try again, and unfortunately I was nauseous for 2 days. No more eggs for me for a LONG while.

Glad you are feeling better and ready to try some new foods!
Here's to a new and exciting journey!

When I first tried to eat eggs (egg beaters) they went down very rough and I had a hard time eating them. After a few times an experienced friend reccomended that I make sure that they were loose. I don't mind undercooked eggs but for those with an aversion make sure that they are cooked but as loose as you can get them. No reason to eat eggs if you can use the beaters IMO.

What about Soft Boiled eggs? I should be starting softs this wednesday and I used to love soft boiled eggs when I was younger....It's still liquid-y and stuff....they were the go-to food when my brother or I were sick when we were little....No one's mentioned them, I don't know if people make them everywhere....haha.

I made my 1st scrambled egg today. One egg, dash of skim milk, dab of margarine. I soft scramble mine, not too done. I ate about 1/4 of it and didnt want anymore. Didnt make me sick but I just didnt want it once I made it so it was hard to eat when I wasnt hungry. Tomorrow i think ill try deviled eggs but just eat the filling, not the white. I usually love scrambled eggs but today just wasnt feeling it.
