Tonight my kids school had a spring dance. I was going to stay home and hang with the baby. But my youngest came home and asked me to be his date. I couldnt say no to him. So I got dressed up and out we went...my oldest who is 9 had his first date!

I spent the whole nite on the dance floor danceing and goofing with my kids. Before this surgery I NEVER would have been on that dance floor in front of people. I would have found a corner and sat on my fat BUTT.

I am so glad I had RNY. it is helping me get what I wanted healthy but helping me spend quality time with my kids.

Oh and everyone was telling me how great I looked!

I can't tell you how happy I am for you! THis post really moved me....because I so long for these moments too....my kids (10,11) are my world and I can't wait toclimb a tree with them or teachthem to cartwheel....lil things others might take for granted.....CONGRATS on a great mommy/son moment....there are soooo many more to come!!!
