I'm assuming you posted about this before but my memory is shot right now due to some medical treatments I'm having.  How are you feeling?  Maybe someone here could suggest what type of doc you should see or some labs you should have done.

Please note: I AM NOT A DOCTOR.  If you want medical advice, talk to your doctor.  Whatever I post, there is probably some surgeon or other health care provider somewhere that disagrees with me.  If you want to know what your surgeon thinks, then ask him or her.    Check out my blog.

sorry had to get some work done.

I have been having such "blah" days.  Never feel very motivated or energetic.  Last night walking across the yard I could hardly move my feet...just dragging.  I almost always have a low grade headache...like a hangover.  I am watching my bloodsugar and for example, it was 50 when I left work yesterday.  So, I had one of those single serving packs of peanut butter and a cheese stick.  Still didn't feel much better, so I had a protein bar.  An hour later my blood sugar was up to 74, but that is when I was literally dragging myself out to do chores and what not.  I never come home and vegetate, but I have been lately.  This morning it took me almost 4 hours to get my 45 minute morning routine done.I get distracted going from point A to point B and go off on some other tangent.  It was an hour later before I realized I never gave the dog his water even when I originally had the water pitcher in hand.  This afternoon I walked off in the middle of doing dishes and didn't even bother to turn the faucet off.  When I tried to call the dog a "big boy" it came out as "dig doy".  (Yes, I talk to the dog sometimes and he at least pretends to listen/understand).

Even after my suger level was up to 130 after a decent meal, I still don't want to do anything.  Heck I haven't washed the dishes in a month (literally).  I did finally get it done today.  I used to be a doer, always tooling around doing chores and busy work, now I just sit and stare into space sometimes.  I am very frustrated with my behaviour and seem unable to change it.

I occassionally feel like my face muscles are in small spasm not quite numb, not quite twitching, just weird.

I tell my friends at work it feels like my skin and muscles are just melting off of me....now I just tell them I feel "meltie" and they know what I am talking about.

Fnd another doctor pronto!  Your glucose levels may be going too low, also known as Reactive Hypoglycemia.  Make sure when you eat you are eating protein and carbs. The brain needs carbs to function, this could be the reason for the "foggyness and forgetfulness."  And brain chemistry is easily messed up by things.  Also, the spasming in your face you mention could be from a number of things and all of them need a doctor so I am not going to elaborate as I am not medically trained. Thus if you didn't get some satisfaction from your current doctor, then run don't walk to another one.  Ask friends and family for recommendations.

Good luck.
