Some of my husband's homemade chili.  It's so yummy with lots of protein.

I had the enriched Barilla pasta with 2% Velveeta...  yummy mac 'n cheese.

My plan allows pasta and rice - this was the first I've tried the pasta and it settled in quite nicely!

A Jimmy John's "Unwich"--a sub without the bread.   Yummy!

I put some carrots in the crockpot with a bullion cube and brown gravy mix.  We'll see how that turned out.  Other than that I probably will have baked chicken with bbq sauce.  I'm trying really hard to stick with my plan but I'm so not willing to give up the bbq sauce.  I figure a teaspoon on my chicken won't hurt.

I found some great sounding recipes posted by my NUTs.  I love Nik's recipes and Eggface's too but for right now they've got too much of stuff I can't have.  So maybe tomorrow I'll have chicken strips or shrimp with turkey bacon.

Oh, my!  You MUST find out about Nik and Eggface.....they will save your life!

Nik is actually the original poster on this thread and she has an amazing website at www.bariatricfoodie.com    You should also look her up on Facebook, if you use it.  Look for "Pouch Party" and "like" the page to be able to see all of her updates on there.  I believe that she also uses Twitter, but I don't use it, so I am not sure.  Nik posts incredible recipes and shares super useful info and tips for post ops.

Eggface is Michelle Vicari and she has another terrific website that you should really check out at http://theworldaccordingtoeggface.blogspot.com/.  She has a zillion recipes that you can search by ingredient, and writes lots of great posts about life as a post-op.  She is also on Facebook.

Check these two sites out......you will learn SOOOOO much!

Chicken and green beans here.  Family ate macaroni and cheese and biscuits in addition to the chicken and beans.  Nothing to write home about.

Tried mashed potatoes for the first time in a long time.... ugh! So that's another food I used to like that now I don't like.
So dinner is a cup of milk & fage w/ s/f  strawberry jelly. Met protein goals but just barely today!

BTW, I LOVE everyone's dinner ideas! I just like hearing/seeing food at this point, but like most newbies, just don't care for putting anything in my mouth. Gee, never thought I'd say that..... Wow, I love this surgery!
