Gotta get the stenosis dilated again.

 I gotta go back to the hospital to have the stenosis dialated again. A stenosis is like a stricture. This process has not been fun. I'm nervous about the procedure because there are risks. I was also supposed to go back to work FINALLY on Monday and now i have to wait.

Hang in Katie.  I had three dilations... but after the third, everything was smooth sailing.   (I know that is anecdoctal, and that we're all different...) but there IS life beyond dilations!

Was it hard to eat before the dilation's? Were you nauseous a lot?

Hi, i had surgery 3/22/11 and have had 2 dialations already, its like having a EGD done u dont remember a thing and not painful at all....good luck you will feel alot better...

Hi Katie. I have had 4 balloon dialations now (since November). grrrr. Im getting off the RNY cheerleader bus. Its not a pleasant experience, I have woken up a few times during and gagged horribly. They will usually knock me back out, but its a little traumatic. I have to go back atleast 2 more times in the next month to have it repeated.
I get very sick before mine, food and water start backing up and it hurts, I get the foamies and finally vomit. Hang in there girl.
