No food day?

Today the thought of food is just to much to take. I am stareing at my vitamens trying to figure out how to get them down. I just don't want to eat anything at all. Nothing sounds good or looks good. I am drinking fine.

My emotions have been ALL over the map the last few days, I havent been able to go potty in like 5 days and feel like crud because of it. All of which I think is playing into how I am feeling today.

Is it ok to go back to fluids for a day or no? Or should I force myself to eat something?

My surgeon told me its ok to skip food for a day once in a while that liquids are the most impt. If you dont want to eat bc you dont feel good i wouldnt force it, i tried that a few weeks ago thinkin i had to eat and just made myself sick...

I'm sorry you aren't feeling the greatest. I think it'd be okay if you "skipped" foods today and just stuck with liquids. Just make sure you get your protein shakes in. You don't want to do this the whole time, because you want to actually live a norma llife, but one day won't hurt you. As far as your vitamins, I understand that feeling. There were times in the first month that I didnt think I'd be able to get my chewable vitamin down, but I did. I chewed it so well, and then drank a sip of water to make it in the form of liquid. Praying things start moving. You might want to look into milk of magnesia or something along the lines in regards to the bathroom issue, because that could definitely be why you don't want solids.

Constipation can kill you and make you wish you were dead. I add fiber one cereal to my yogurt everyday and don't have that problem anymore, many use the fiber powder in shakes. Having to strain can also injure you inside, since it take 3 months for the stomach to completely heal. Going back a stage in you diet is fine as long as you are watching you protein.

just be careful when you increase your fiber. If you're not properly hydrated the way you're supposed to be, you can definitely get even more stopped up by in taking more fiber!
