Triscuit crisps are great and are easy to go down.

At five weeks...hmmmm...that's tough. Everything made me sick at five weeks. If you can do carrot sticks those are good. I couldn't at five weeks. I also like lighly salted rice cakes. Very low calories, low carbs.

OH! How could I forget??? Do you have Wegman's in your area? If not, look up something called "Cocopop" (pop rice). They are like rice cakes but thinner and crispier. They have 16 calories for a ginormous one. I love those things!!!

They sell them at my local Amish market. You have to have a special machine to make them in the store. Look them up!!!

Katie, they sell those Cocopops at the PA Dutch market here in Germantown. It's on the corner of Wisteria & Great Seneca - literally right down the street from me! I've seen the stats on them and very low carb.

I was allowed crackers at 4 weeks and it didn't even phase me at all. I guess the only way you will ever know is if you try them.

I was just cleared for crackers or toast. Reduced fat graham crackers are great, they "melt" away fairly quick AND SHOULD BE GENTLE ON THE pouch. Watch the sugar.

Soy Crisps are my FAVE crunchy snack to eat with cheese, meats, hummus etc.  They are PACKED with protein too (8g per serving of 20 crisps), lower in carbs (9g per serving) than crackers and do not contain any white flour products (bad yucky nasty carbs lol).  My fave flavors are BBQ and White Cheddar.  Regular crackers are a slider food for me - I could eat them all day and not get full.  The protein in these helps to keep me satiated until my next real meal, which is the whole point of a snack, right? :)

Crackers are garbage that are not worthy of being put in your pouch.  Even if they are allowed on your plan, they are just empty carbs.  They are way too easy to overeat.

Find something with low carbs, high protein and food value like Revival Baked Protein Chips.  Don't start eating foods that slide down easily and can end up sabatoging your weight loss.

I love the crunch but to me crackers are "gateway foods"  they make it way to easy to start eating other bad carbs and then the cravings for the garbage start.

I second the lentil crisps.  They are very crunchy and are better than processed white flour.

Hey! I had crackers even when I had a pretty bad stricture. It was one of the few foods I could tolerate before last week when I got my stricture fixed :) I would only eat the butter crackers though. My fav is townhouse crackers from the normal grocery store.
