I got mostly sublingual and chewable from Vitalady.com. I have not hard pills. The capsules I put in my mouth one at a time and roll it around for about 10 seconds until the gelatin cover starts dissolving and then I swallow with a drink.  I can use a flavored drink better than water to get them down.

It took me 2 months before I felt comfortable swallowing big pills again.
Be patient with yourself.
If it helps, cut them in half.

I laugh and call my mound of pills my "breakfast". I sit with a glass of water and it takes me at least 10 minutes to swallow them all. I then go to work and having something to eat there.

I start my day with a protien shake and sit in front of the computer. I take my capsules 15 minutes apart as told to by Dr. It takes almost an hour to do my four capsules but the protien drink is the only way I can take them without them getting stuck. That was a real problem when I first started after my RNY.
