So this week (week 7) my baby’s hands and feet are developing from the little arms and legs. He/she has doubled in size since last week (which is probably why I’ve been dead tired!!) and is now the size of a blueberry! The brain cells are growing 100 cells a minute, and he/she is starting to get eye color. Praying that they have my husband’s color eyes!

I love my little blueberry!!

Oh I miss being pregnant!   I'm living vicariously through you for the next 33 weeks lol.  Your energy will come back towards the end of the first trimester.  Then at the end of the 2nd trimester it will go away again lol.

It's funny that you're praying your LO has your husband color eyes.  The entire time I was pregnant with Aubrey I didn't care what she looked like I just wanted her to have my husband's eyes.  His eyes are this gorgeous blue.  Mine are brown.  Well, she has grey/green/blue eyes depending on the time of day and what she's wearing.  I guess she showed us all!

My first question after my c-section was "What color are her eyes?"

Congratulations again!  I can't even imagine how excited you two are.  This is the best blessing anyone could ask for.  If you have any questions about pregnancy let me know.  It was 2 years ago today I found out I was pregnant with Aubrey, but I remember every moment of my pregnancy like it was yesterday.

Thanks so much! Yes this baby is a huge blessing for us. We tried for 3 years with no luck, and the docs said my husband was infertile. Well, God is bigger than all of that as He proved!  Thanks again!  :)

*screaaaaammmmmiiiinnnnngggg* OMG!!!!! I know I have been off the scene a bit, but OMG!!!!! You're pregnant!!!!! YESSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am SOOOOOOO excited! (Can you tell??? )

And regarding ANYTHING a doctor says about anyone's fertility, BABIES get here everyday and live healthy lives that were never "supposed" to! God is bigger than medicine and any limitations we may have. I LOVE IT! Congrats! This is the BEST day to have come back!

I remember my first pregnancy. I had tried for 4 years. Everyday was like a miracle. In those days there was no internet so I went to the book store and read all the books to see exactly what stage he was in, how big, etc. I had an ultrasound at 6 weeks to confirm the pregnancy was in the right place and then they didn't do any more (back in the dark ages). We had no idea if it was a boy or girl. I already had a son we adopted so everyone wanted a girl. I had a shower and all I got was girl stuff. A month before my due date I had to have another ultrasound and they told me it was a boy. I remember going back to the stores and trading all the pink for blue.
The day he was born I had a c section and the first thing I asked is if he had any hair (he had lots). He was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen. Now he is a man with a wife of his own and hoping for his own family. He turned out pretty good.
Enjoy every moment. It sounds like you are. You will remember these days for the rest of your life like it was yesterday. There is nothing like the miracle of a baby.

I am loving these updates. I tried for 5 years to get pregnant. I took the fertility pills and everything. God knew when it was the right time. I felt the best in my life when I was pregnant. Gained 13 lbs and had a 8 lb 10 oz baby girl. I was smaller after I had the baby than when I got pregnant. My matabolism was better when I was pregnant than when I was not.

Soak it all up and enjoy every minute. It is truly a blessing from God and a honor to be able to "make" another human being. God bless you and your husband and prayers for an easy and healthy pregnancy.
