Pureed Food Stage Ideas
Today I start pureed foods for the next 2 weeks. I'm at a loss and need some ideas. I know I can have creamed potatoes and sweet potatoes. I've bought cottage cheese and SF strawberry preserves to try. I AM SICK OF PUDDING AND JELLO! The thought of pureed meat makes me gag and I'm not sure about the vegatables. I did get some fruit in light syrup to puree and some applesauce. Last night, I tried Ragu sauce w/ mozarella cheese melted on it....WONDERFUL! Any ideas or suggestions would be great!!

I'm still on the full liquids, but I've heard of people doing Wendy's chili or even their chili cheese potatos. I've heard of people doing things like wonton soup or even vegitable beef soup. Star Kist tuna has frozen fish now that you steam in your microwave (like the healthy sensations from Long John Silver's), but you might want to wait for the ground food stage for that. I get to add scrambled egg whites and mashed potatoes along with stage 1 baby foods, vegitarian fat free refried beans, & cottage cheese when I get to my pureed food stage.
I am 7 days out today and yesterday was the first day I was able to get in all 48oz of fluids including my 12oz protein shakes and my vitamins in. I haven't really been able to get in any food though. I did get in 1/4 cup banana pudding and 1.5 oz runny strained refried bean "juice". Sounds gross, I know, but I didn't want anything sweet. I've heard of people adding things to greek yogurt to make it savory, but I don't know what they added.
