Ulcers 6 years after surgery

Hello everybody,
 I am wondering if anyone has dealt with ulcers after surgery in their pouch. For the first time last night I felt my throat on fire. I eat quite healthy and have taken care of my body since surgery. Just wondered if anyone has gone through this and what the treatment is.

Im almost 3 months out and had terrible pouch buring ang throat burning, Doc said I had an ulcer. They gave me Dexilant (spelling) and a GI ****tail which is a liquid of antacid, lidocaine and donatol, taste real nasty numbs the tongue but OH WHAT RELIEF after the first swallow.

Oh I feel so much better...

 I'm 8 years post op and get at least one a year.  My doctor also treats mine with Carafate.  Just make sure you don't take any other food or medicine with it because it coat that instead of your stomach.
