Dizzy a lot??
Sounds to me like your blood pressure is dropping when you stand up. Do so more slowly, be close to something to grap, and if you have a blood pressure cuff take your blood pressure, it not let your PCP know as soon as you see him again. If on medication they may need to be adjusted. Otherwise do you have an earache, ear infections can cause that too. Believe you me, I thought I was on a drunk this week and it was my ears.

It happens to me all the time. I get a little queasy too. Doesn't last very long. But it does slow me down.
I think it is our body going through changes. We need to find out what our body needs. More smaller meals or drink more.
It is a journey and we need to make sure we keep our engine running smoothly.
BUT....... It is always a good thing to talk to your Dr. everyone is different. There may be other issues you may have that I don't. Always use caution when you have a concern. Better safe than sorry.

I had similar issues at arou 7-8 months post op. Just dizzy feelings seemed tolerable, but I always had to be aware of where I was so I could steady myself by holding onto something or sitting down quickly. BUT, when I passed out a couple of times, it became much more of an issue. Several tests via my PCP that included Holter and Event Monitor test, and I had pulse rates documented at 45 and 38 at these doctor appointments. A final referral to a cardiologist and one more Holter Monitor test, and I had a diagnosis. My bp would elevate for short periods of time, then return to it's relatively low number. On some occasions, the bp would dip to lower than my nomral low, and that's when I'd either pass out or become severely dizzy. Diagnosis on a Thursday, and a pacemaker was implanted the following Tuesday. No more issues. My condition was an intermittent issue, as it did not happen every day. So just bp readings may not catch the problem. The pacemaker resolved my issues. DAVE

I also had this issue and it was low blood pressure issues, still do if I'm not careful. I had pretty low end of normal blood pressure before surgery, so with the rapid weight loss it got even lower. I also struggled with getting in my fluids while at work, which didn't help either.
My doctor suggested that I consume some high sodium foods (i.e. canned soup, cold cuts) basically to get me to retain some water. It feels funny to intentionally pick up the high sodium stuff, but it did help with the dizzy spells.

Thanks all. Dave I am hoping I am more like Gillian than you...scary. I took my blood pressure a few min ago at Walmart and it was 101/64 which is a little low for me but not crazy low. I will increase my fluid intake as Gillian said. I already eat a lot of cold cuts (didn't even realize they are high in sodium). I need to get a primary care in the area I moved to.
