Sure, you CAN have them. But SHOULD you? That is a choice only you can make.

I have had a mozzarella stick since surgery sure. When a friend has had some, I eat half of one occassionally. Do I order then for my lunch? Nope. They aren't going to help my weightloss continue.

yeah true true...I was just thinking.....like people promote those mozzarella sticks int he backage that u have to string the cheese off of.....and i mean real mozz sticks arent much different only they are hot and yummer with some breadding...but i guess its the breading that kills it. Lol. Oh well i just wondered.

breaded and fried in grease!

You could make some at home with string cheese.  Use ground up Fiber one cereal and bake in the oven.  Those would be okay.

ive learned real quick that if you post about eating "bad foods" even way in the future you will get a lecture about it...
I myself can tolerate anything and eat whtever I want in moderation...I had 2 mozzarella sticks the other night and they were delishh...but I made sure I had saved up some calories to have them

I believe people can eat whatever they want but  this is a Rny support group site. I think it would be unethical of me to say to someone posting about wanting fried cheese, pizza, cake,pie..oh the list goes on and on..to say...sure..eat it ..no problem.
My success has come from following the doctors progression and then following the suggested diet. I like mozzarella sticks too. I found a recipe using the bran cereal and made them. It was more effort and they weren't quite as good as the greasy gooey fried ones but they worked.
I found out about it reading this site. Someone cared enough to let me know there was a way to make it work.
I'm grateful for those people.
