Clothes...ugh.
My character T's I will be cutting and making rag rugs out of. My jeans I am cutting all the buttons out of and sewing together to make a cool jean carpet for my daughter's room!
Luckily I won't be working in another few months, so I can just cinch up my pants and wear baggy shirts until they just fall off.
Underwear and bras will be a challenge, but for now, since I purchased smaller bras and extensions, I can just get rid of the extensions. I'm worried about cup size going down:(
My husband is happy...he will be getting some of his closet back!
I dropped a size a month, so at that rate I basically stocked my closet with 2 pairs of work pants, and 2 pairs of jeans in my size, and then shirts that I would wear through 2 sizes. Once I settled down, about 6 months out, I got another pair of nice pants and jeans, and added in a denim skirt. It felt like a whole new wardrobe!
No one at school noticed - for which I was eternally grateful!

Height 5' 5". Start point 254. DH's goal: 154. My guess: 144. Insurance goal: 134. Currently bouncing around 130-135.
I wore my same clothes until I was down about 4 sizes. I wear a spanx tshirt that I pulled down over my pants and that basically held them up. Look and see if you live near a Clothes Mentor or good second hand store. When I finally broke down and bought some things I went there and bought a size smaller than I am, figuring I would just get through winter with what I had and buy some smaller stuff for spring. I will wear those until I can't stand how big they get and then I will take those clothes to Clothes Mentor and get a little money for them and buy something else. I got some really cute stuff.
My sister had this surgery a year before me, and once she found out I was going to have it she started keeping the clothes as she lost weight, so once I get down to a 10 I won't have to spend very much.
