I have been getting terrible cramps in my feet lately.  Could this have anything to do with my diet?

Yep, you may have low potassium. It can cause leg and foot cramps.

Eat a banana every day and take extra calcium if you need to - The combo of lack of potassium as well as calcium can do it as well.  I eat a banana every single day and if I don't my feet do the same.

Bananas are a must, I think.
I also add potassium to my regime of suppements as when I get cramps they are awful.
I hope the advice helps you.

I take a product called "Mag-Ox" for cramping. I swear by it!!

about 1-2 months out of surgery I've had terrible foot/leg cramps..I mean horrible!  I did go see my doctor and he suggested taking Quinine for it.  If you have a Whole Foods store around your area it is called "Hylands Leg Cramps with Quinine" you pop 2 small dissolvable tablets underneath your tongue and in a few seconds gone.  It's temporary relief but works like magic!

My doctor also told me to increase my water intake so I did and since then (I am 9 months out now) I rarely get them and do not even have to take the tablets anymore only once in a great while.

I hope this helps!

I eat a banana every day and have a medicine called, no kidding "Leg Cramp" that I got at WalMart. It has quinine in it but I'm gonna go to Whole Foods and see if I can find the one referred to above.

Thanks for the suggestions.  I do eat bananas very often but I did get put in the hospital a couple months ago and one of the things they said was my potassium was very low.  I guess I will see about getting the pills that several of you mentioned and I will increase my water intake.

vitamin water? Revive, it's what my doc has me on.

Mix(dilute it) at 1/4 to 3/4. . . Meaning say you mix in 32 oz bottle of water, 1/4 of your 32 oz bottle will be revive and the res****er.
