What's for dinner??????????
I am eating at church tonight. I'm sure the old ladies have good stuff for me. For my part I have started remembering myself on Wednesdays and staying low on my overall calories up until dinner in remembrance that there is no "Low Cal" in Lutheran.
What's on your plate tonight?

RNY Gastric Bypass 1-8-08 350/327/200 (HW/SW/CW). I spend most of my time playing with my food over at Bariatric Foodie - check me out!
We're going on day 6 without a kitchen sink because it's clogged. I'm out of plates and silverwear and can't wash anything. Very frustrating. Soooo...I'm going with easy tonight. Turkey sausage and sauerkraut.
@Nik LOL no "low cal" in Lutheran! Our Methodist men's group has cornered the market on tamales and briskets in our area.

I made a mexican caserole. Here is how to do it.
1 large can of fat free refried beans
2 packets of taco seasoning
1 cup taco sauce
1 small can of diced green chilis
1/4 cup of sliced black olives
1/4 cup of sliced green olives
1 bag of reduced fat mexican blend of cheese
3 lbs of ground turkey
scallions
1 tomato
reduced fat sour cream
2 cups of water
(this makes for a family of 4 w/ 1 gastric bypass patient and 3 guys that are garbage disposals
Brown the ground turkey in a large skillet till almost completely cooked. Pour in water and taco seaoning packets. Cook for 5 min on low. Add in taco sauce and green chilis. Simmer on low for 3 min. Add in olives and cook for 5 more min. In a caserole dish put in the large can of beans. Then pour in turkey mixture and mix. Then top with cheese and bake in 350 degree oven for 30 min. Let cool for 5 minutes and serve. Top with tomato, scallions, and sour cream.
Enjoy!

And you were right about my "regain".. I lost three of my seven added pounds just last night. Since I expect to lose approximately 10 to 12 pounds when I go from slothful to not so slothful (as has happened the last three times I had a month off) this means I might actually get down to the 130's......which sounds bizarro.... but probably not.
