ATM, I couldn't give less of a crap actually. I'm happy with me. But usually, in general, smaller. Scale be damned.

Small anyday (<--from a recovering scale addict here)

I sit anywhere from 132-136 most days and both my dress pants and new jeans are all size 0. I CONSTANTLY get the comments of "you're on the borderline of being too thin" so when I shoot back with my weight and that I am a healthy BMI, they get the look of utter shock.
Most people guess me to be about 115...I'm 5'4" which isn't uber short so I guess it's muscle...(which is about to increase even more - trying to prepare mentally for it, tooO) b/c your girl here is about to strap a sign across her ass that says UNDER CONSTRUCTION. Yep, building me a butt and further defining my upper body. Getting the wings clipped ain't in the near future so I'm gonna see what I can with them 'em in the gym.

Be happy.

I like what Sarah said...I'd like to be smaller as long as my weight starts with a 1 !  I havent seen onderland since about 6th grade (Yeah, I was 5'8/5'9 and stacked like I was 21 at 12)

Im not a small person. I dont so much wish to be shorter, but Im a big girl and I think even if I was below goal, I'd still be a big girl. Its annoying sometimes, but I do like having long legs. But there has to be something about being a little petite or dainty...to be in a room and not be as big as or bigger than all the men in the room!  I always feel like the bull in the china shop and Im just about as graceful!

Id like to buy a bracelet...that fits, buy a ring I dont have to get sized...buy shoes that dont come from the transvestite end of the rack. I'd like to buy pants that are long enough. But I guess everyone wants to see what its like on 'the other side'

I am happy though that Im a 16/18 bottoms and 18/20 top even at 235 lbs and cant wait to see the sizes get even smaller.

You are so right.  At a whopping 5' 4" I'm the tall one in my family.  We'll settle for jeans that don't need hemming since we'll never know what its like to have long gracefull legs.

I'm with the majority - and for a very similar reason. I've always been heavier than I looked, and heavier than others at the same measurements.

So - scale be damned! I have dense, heavy bones, and I muscle up well. BMI and weight are irrelevant to what I actually AM.

I'll take it anyway I can get it small in size or low poundage.  At present doesn't look like I am going to get either, but I am trying hard.

I can't decide.

I get on the scale everyday.  Don't obsess about the number.  I don't care what size I wear.  I seem to wear bigger sizes than others at my weight.

My real concern is my health.  I want to look youthful for my age.  I want energy.  I want to be able to fight off disease - not be toxic.  I want to be content with myself - love myself.

So I can't decide.

My surgeon keeps reminding me of this fact. He says at 327 I was the healthiest obese person he'd ever experienced (no co-morbids...not even the indication of any. I was not pre-diabetic, did not have high blood pressure, cholesterol, etc. Nothing.) and now that I've lost weight he says I am even more healthy and that I should celebrate that.

I agree...it just takes some mental adjustment to "get there" in your post-op maturity. You know what I mean?
