surgery was this morning

Well, surgery was this morning. Started at 7:45 and it was over in an hour. Thank goodness you all told us about chapstick!! I have never had such a dry mouth. It feels like I have basket full of cotton in my mouth. I walked down the hall and back at 1pm. I am feeling pretty good. Just wanted to let you know that surgery went fine. Thanks for all the prayers and support!

Hello!

Glad to hear you're doing well! Keep walking those halls. Ask the nurses if you can have some of those sponges on a stick for your dry mouth. They let me have them as long as I just dipped in water. DON'T swallow any of the water. They do help some.

I am glad the surgery went well. I didn't realize they do surgeries on Sat..cool. You have some fun time ahead of you in the next couple weeks and so many things that you will learn along the way. I hope everything goes wonderfully for you. Milk of Magnesia was my friend a few days out from surgery...just a thought.
