What are you eating and drinking?  are you taking your vitamins?

I am only a few days out but i have noticed that if i do NOT take my vitamins or drink i have really bad nausea.  also i have found that ice cold water with lemon aid crystal light really help.  also, get up and move, always helps me.  I really hope one of these things helps because lord i know how bad that feeling sucks!!  Good Luck Chicky!

How's your water intake? Most post ops are nauseated alot if their water intake isn't good. Up your water and see if that doesn't help. Most post ops who are dehydrated have to double up on the water to get their levels back up. Then maintain at least 70 ounces of water minimum a day.
Check with your doc but most nausea for us is related to dehydration and it's fixable. Pound down the water - whether you want it or not. You'll feel so much better when your levels are up.

It's probably because you're not getting enough fluids and protein, but it could also just be your body adjusting, hormones shifting.  One word for you: ZOFRAN!  It's a miracle pill. I had a terrible bout of nausea back in January, and once I got on it, I felt so much better, and it was easier to bounce back and get on my regular diet.  The pills are teeny-tiny.  Very easy to swallow.

I agree that it could be you are getting dehydrated. Try some hot pepperment tea or ginger tea. That helps sooth the tummy. If it continues, call your surgeon and tell him that the meds you are on for nausea aren't working. They can give you something else. Also, are you having BM's? Sometimes constipation can cause nausea as well.

I had my surgery on 3/15 also, and I start every day out battling nausea.  Peppermint hot tea is the first thing I have every morning and it does help me.  I drink water even thru the nausea and it's hard.  :-(  Im sorry you're having a tough time.
