Surgery went great...I am so happy I did this. I have no trouble geting in my water goes down so nice and easy. My incisions hurt but they are manageable. My whole right side is a big old bruise around one of the cuts but it doesn't bother me. I have been walking like a crazy women.

The only thing I hate is I can't sleep. Can not get comfy at all. But I know that that will change soon.

It all seems so unreal to be on this side of it.

Congratulations!

Try taking some of your pain meds 15 minutes or so before you want to sleep. It should relieve the discomfort enough that you can fall asleep easily.

If you have a reclining chair, it may be more comfortable than lying in bed for a few days or so.
