Angry with my boobs
Prior to losing all my weight I thought I would need a reduction. However after all my weight loss I was left with tube socks. Seriously horrible tube socks. The plastic surgeon said he had never seen anyone with no breast tissue left and I was the first one in his 25 years of practice. Awesome me.....so 6 months after recovering from my breast lift I am going back in for breast implants because I look like a 12 year old.
In my wildest dreams I never thought this would happen. Could you make a case with your insurance to get a reduction paid for? Back pain etc?

I have the same problem with finding bras that are supportive enough to raise the girls from waist level and fit properly. I find it hard to believe that a 36 or 38 DDD is THAT rare, especially given how common implants are these days! In HOURS and HOURS of trying on bras in dozens of stores, I found two acceptable bras: one is a VS that I get in a 38DD that looks very sexy but does not quite give the support I need for everyday wear and the other is a Cacique from Lane Bryant that USED to come in a 36DDD, but apparently now only comes in a 38DDD (I just use the last set of hooks), and it offers the fit, support, and comfort I need, but isn't quite as sexy (but does hide the "wrinkly paper bag" quite well, LOL).
I feel very self-conscious about wearing anything that is fitted across the rib cage because even though I am somewhat thick-waisted, my rib cage is reasonably small so it makes my boobs look ENORMOUS. I have a sleeveless little black dress with an asymmetrical collar that I love, but it is fitted across the ribs so I am reluctant to wear it... makes me feel like Dolly Parton!
Sorry to hear that yours came back. Mine never left and the PS indicated that, in his opinion, what I have left is all skin and tissue with very little fat, so they aren't going anywhere without a reduction (which I cannot possibly afford after doing my tummy (which I am STILL paying off) and arms).

You don't drown by falling in the water. You drown by staying there.
I feel your pain too when I finaly get all the wieght off Im having the tummy tuck and boobs done and any other tuck that needs to be done taken care of. Thankfully my MIL told me she will pay for anything that my insurance doesnt. and I agree with you the wrinkley paperbags that hang to my waist already are not pretty at all now and Im only 3 months out I can immagine what they will be like in a year from now. yuck.
To all of those with boobs that are too big, I will happily take a boob donation of a cup size or two (only ONE of you can donate!). I currently wear a 40 B... and thank goodness the bras I have are heavily padded because the girls are rapidly disappearing (so, I guess that makes me a B minus now!). I think a C or D would be just about perfect. My boyfriend would thank you for the donation as well!
I shall forward your grant request on to the "itty bitty ***** committee." Let me know what they decide :)
