Two week stall...
Before now I had only stalled one other time...when I was able to eat full solids, and it was for a week. Now, I have only lost 3 lbs in two weeks, and I'm PISSED!! Except for the other stall I have always lost 1-2 lbs a day, without exercising. I have been really bad about exercising. As a middle school science teacher I am constatly moving all day, and am just exhausted at the end of the day. But, since it is spring break this week I'm going to hit the pool/gym.
Has anyone had good luck with breaking a stall with exercise?

I know that everyone is different....a month after my RNY I joiuned a gym and exercised, I just knew it would speed up my weight loss but for "ME" it did not....2 weeks post-op I lost 22 pounds...week 3......1 pounds
joined a gym and exercised daily 1-2 pounds every other week...so I stopped and just focused on my eating pattern and healing....yes, I hit stalls...1 stall or plateau was 9 months and then a 2-3 month stall...my weight came off slow and steady but I am daily active
last spring I painted my 2-story house 80% by myself just because of the activity and in 5 days I lost 10 pounds....then I also carried alot of excess skinand after before my pannus removal lost 7 pounds due to lack of appetite and nerves
after surgery PS took off over 7 pounds of skin and fat, and during recovery I have lost and additional 7 pounds..
so for me I have been active but not active in gym and this month I am 2.5 years out and now weigh 148 down from highest of 293 before RNY......it will come off...when you start a exercise program make sure you monitor your caloric intake so you will not burn out or slow down your metabolism to the point that your body will gain or hold onto every pound..
but be encouraged THE WEIGHT WILL COME OFF REGARDLESS!
