Smoothie King Gladiator Protein Powder
Hi all... I am currently on day 3 out of 5 of my pre op liquid diet. I bought some a c ouple of packs of Smoothie King Gladiator Protein Powder the other day and tried one for breakfast this morning. I am in love. This is the first protein powder that I have tried so far that I can actually say I enjoy drinking. BUT when I bought it I asked the young lady in the store if this is whey protein because that is what I know I need. She said that it is not whey protein but Smoothie king's special protein which digests like whey protein????
Since I like this stuff so much I would make this my primary protein but before I waste my money I wanted to know if anyone can tell me if this is acceptable for us. Does anyone currently use this stuff and is it working out for you post op?
My new birthday/surgery date is 4/6/11 and I am just ttrying to get all of my ducks in a row. Thank in advance for your help

check this link out as it says it's whey isolate, so that's the best whey. The bottom link talks about how the powder can be used for bypass patients. Good to find good powders, right?

I am 11 months out and would not have made it without Smoothie King. My second week out, someone posted on here about it and I have been going every since! I tried making it myself, but mine did not taste as good as the one they make for me! I love it!!! And it works for me! Hope you enjoy it and that it works for you!!! Good luck on your surgery!!! :-)
