so, is a protein shake.....
My surgeon wanted us to wait even after our liquid meals, but I frankly didn't see any wisdom in that at all.... liquid is liquid is liquid...... if you NEED the training, then by all means wait after your liquid meal before you consume more liquids, it IS good training, but it's all about training and not about logic. You wait to drink after a solid or semisolid meal .... not after liquids.
now do you count it as a meal, that's a different ballgame, and again, no ansswers for you.

My guidelines say that if you have a protein shake mixed with water it counts towards hydration (for me that would be towards the 64oz of water daily) And if you mix the shake with milk it's considered a meal replacement. In that case I would wait 30 minutes to drink again.
Are you familiar with Atkins advantage protein shakes (strawberry) I LOVE those...I could drink like 3 a day! if so, do premier shakes taste anything like that? I'm gonna have to find a cosco...I struggle with protein drinks.
