Thanks for posting this Nik! Your words of advice and wisdom are ALWAYS appreciate it! You tell it like it is. I have been having some issues with eggs and other foods lately and the only time my pouch lets me eat regular food is at dinner, so your recipes for shakes have been a lifesaver!

I sooo needed to read this today. I'm only 2 weeks out and am full of regrets today. I can't stop crying. I'm wishing I never did this. Your words are touching and I can only hope that things WILL get better. Thanks!

Wow!! This was a great post!! In my short time on this site, I have appreciated all the great advice and the encouraging words you have posted for all of us. I'm 5 weeks post op. I've had some great days and some not so great. Lost 70 pounds in those 5 weeks and really don't care much for all the snacking and comfort food I left behind. I still have a long way to go with my adjustments to the bariatric life. But I still credit my surgeon with saving my life. I don't miss the life I had before the surgery. And I remind myself of that every time I get on the scale. Thank You!! For all you do for us and look forward to all the knowledge yet to drop in the future.
