Surgery Date Set...Excited & Nervous!!

On April 25, I am having my band removed and switched to the gastric bypass.  I'm so excited but also a little nervous.  I had my band put in back in 2007 and did great at it until it malfunctioned.  I got discouraged and gave up which caused me to gain back almost everything I had lost.  I'm so ready to start over but I'm getting NO support at home.  My husband is very against this surgery because he saw the problems I had with the band.  I'm doing this for me though and I hope you will relax after it's done.  Any words of advise and of course support is GREATLY needed!!

I have not had the surgery yet but I am very happy for you to have your date. Maybe it's hard for your husband to see you in pain and struggling. Once he sees you healthy and happier maybe he'll apologize for not being more supportive, haha. BTW...the 25th is my birthday so I know it's going to be a great day for you. Good luck! This time it will work for you!
