OT: FYI: "Hole" vs "Whole"
http://www.beedictionary.com/common-errors/hole_vs_whole
“Hole" and “whole" have almost opposite meanings. A hole is a lack of something, like the hole in a doughnut (despite the confusing fact that the little nubbins of fried dough are called “doughnut holes"). “Whole" means things like entire, complete, and healthy and is used in expressions like “the whole thing," “whole milk," “whole wheat," and “with a whole heart."

Haha this made me giggle. It also reminde me of this http://theoatmeal.com/comics/misspelling
No. Not at all. Public humiliation and belittling people seems to be the norm around here. Mistakes are not tolerated, and separate posts must be made to correct the horrible grammatical and spelling errors.
It seriously disturbs me about how many people live and breath by these boards. This is a place where we are supposed to educate ourselves, learn from other people's WLS experiences, yet, it's being taken so seriously that it's almost like we should be here to learn English instead or something.

Only YOU can choose whether or not something offends you.
It is an important distinction. I didn't feel compelled to correct it, but I've grown accomplished at stomping on my desire to correct grammatical errors. Typos (as I make a zillion of them) are one thing, but bad grammar is hard to NOT want to correct. I am, after all, an educator.
I see the point in the OP, but I also know that people will choose to be offended by it.
MOST of the time I choose not to be offended by things. If a person's post do nothing to improve my time on OH, I skip those posts or if I they are so prolific I can't avoid them, I hit the block button.
Everyone is allowed to have their pet peeve, even grammar ones. Just choose not to be offended by it!
Just food for thought.
