I just started ECT treatments yesterday and I will be going back tomorrow and Friday.  I will be having them 3x a week.  I was WAY nervous, too.  If you have any questions, let me know.  It was painless and I felt pretty good afterwards.  I did have some memory loss, but no big deal (like I couldn't remember what I'd had for dinner the night before -- silly things like that).

I hope this works for us!!  The results seem promising for my rx-resistant depression.
