is cheese good for you?
Since the surgery my tastes have changed SO much. One thing I like ten times more is cheese. I bought these reduced fat 60 calorie chedder cheesesticks and sometimes I have them for breakfast and then later for another snack. I'm trying to figure out what works for my pouch and this is one thing that makes my pouch happy. Is this a good choice? It has 7 g of protein in one stick and just a few grams of fat. No sugar. Thoughts?
It's great for you. If you get the full fat kind, you may not want to eat a ton of it. But some fat is fine.
Cheese does make some people constipated, though, so if that happens, you might need a stool softener. But if you just make sure you drink tons of water, that might do the job.

I love cheese. I don't eat it everyday at this point, but I do eat it usually a couple of times a week. I did eat it several times a day early out though as it was on of those snacks that was easy to grab and my pouch loved it.

I love cheese.. It is good in my pouch. One of the only things that my pouch will settle for. I would also caution u with the constipation issue. Drink lots of water and stool softener if needed. I personally found that if I drink Orange Juice 100% oj I do not have constipation issues. Good Luck Take Care.
