I am on a CLEAR liquid diet and I am starving... What can I do to fill up or make myself think I am full?? I've had broth, jello and water all day.  Any ideaas?

Sugar free popsicles are great! I ate the Breyers sugar free ones and they were wonderful. All surgeon's plans are different, but mine said clear liquids also include, non-carbonated, sugar-free flavored water and or water additives (like Crystal Llight), and diluted fruit juice (3 parts water to 1 part juice)

Hang in there it does get better!

I literally drank crystal light, sf jello, sugar free popsicles ALL DAY LONG. I tried the chicken broth but hated it. Luckily I only had to do the clear liquids for 2 days. I also bought popsicle makers and poured crystal light into them and froze them to eat too. You could try putting some unflavored protein into some jello mix. That should help your hunger.

I prefered the boullion cubes to actual chicken broth, too many bad memories from the pre-op ketosis diet I think. Otherwise I also recommend SF popsicles. I wasn't on a clear diet for more than a few days so to be honest I don't have more suggestions.

I was on clear liquids two days before surgery, the day before surgery I could have nothing bu****er until after my endoscopy (my preop was the day before).

y clear liquids consisted of chicken broth, SF popsicles & jello, water & SF mixes added to water (crystal light, SF koolaide), gatoraid (in SMALL amounts), and grape and apple juice (I think it was grape juice...but I could be mistaken there). I couldn't stomach anything except the popsicle and water.

SF jello, SF popcicles, Crystal Light and my very favorite - the broth from a can of Campbell's chicken noodle soup. Made it just like always, drained off the broth and gave hubby the noodles and I drank the broth. Cannot do the Swanson's broth by itself but can doctor it up with curry powder or some spicy hot oil or something.
This too will pass and you'll be such a happier, healthier you.

Broth is good, but it's so salty you end up drinking more crystal light.  It's a tough stage but youll get through it.

I second the suggestion of sf popsicles and crystal light or 4C drink powders. But the truth is, the clear liquid diet sucks and there's nothing that will make it more tolerable besides time...lol.
