I miss taking baths

I'm going crazy sitting in the house healing watching tv show after tv show. I don't feel like doing much else. But I want to take a bath SO BAD! Sounds SO relaxing and wonderful. But my surgeon said I'm supposed to wait a month. How long did you wait to get cleared for a bath?

I was supposed to wait a month, but honestly I only waited a week. I just made sure my water was shallow enough to not get my incisions wet. Baths is how I relaxed so I couldn't wait that long for relief.
I'm 3 months out and everything turned out ok.

As soon as my incisons were fully healed.

I had not had a bath for a long, long time because I was really too fat to fit in the tub.  Isn't that awful?  I mean, I took showers, I could stand in the  tub to shower, but if I tried to sit down, my hips were really wedged in there good.  Now I can fit and I absolutely love long, not bubble baths.

Well to be honest i havent fit comftorably in a tub to take a bath since i was about 12 so baths arent something i really miss. But my dr also said no baths or soaking till a month. However if i wanted to i could prolly take one now. All the glue has come off my incsions and they are all healed up.

I have to wait a month as well. I love baths but I am still sore when I get up and down so I was thinking it probably wasn't the best thing right now anyway.

I was told to wait 6 weeks. I was so excited when those 6 weeks were up, I wrote in big letters on the calendar: Sarah can take a BATH!! :D

I definitely missed taking a bath those 6 weeks!!

I was a week out but I also made sure to not let the incisions soak in the water and then showered and dressed.

I only had to wait a week.. I take baths all the time because Im always cold and they are relaxing. I take one right before bed and then jump in my bed warm and relaxed.
