This is a pic of me 2 weeks post-op panniculectomy/TT....I have more detailed photos on my profile if you would like to see.

Incision and new navel is almost healed completely and fading in color....was very red, now the color of a bruise and will ultimately fade to the color of my stretch marks and/or complexion.

I feel good!  I am able to do most of my daily activities with limitation and only when my binder is off for an extended period of time like showering or laundering it do I feel pain when I cough or laugh hard....

other than that I have had no complications.

I wish I could get my breasts done and get these stupid implants out.  I miss having small breasts.  Biggest mistake getting them.  Instead of making me look buxom they make me look fat.  And they droop from me regaining so much weight.

You look great!  What are you doing - your laundry must weigh more than your lifing limit!!!  Time to put those kids to work..... not that my 4 have been overly helpful.... hubby is good for laundry though.

My new navel looks fantastic too.  As does my right side, left has painful swelling.  Can't wait to have the drains pulled on Monday!

Are those your pre-op jeans already?  I'm impressed.

The short hair really does look cute, btw.

lol....no I meant the only time my tummy hurts is when I have the binder off and I am washing the binder

Oh, yes.......I am truly milking this surgery for all it is worth with my DH and kids....I even have a whistle...lol

These BabyPhat jeans I have had for years when I was slim and I wore them post-op RNY but they looked terrible because of my big belly.  so now they fit better than when I first bought them over 6 years ago.

I have been having a good time trying on clothes that did not look right post RNY and now post TT and the difference is amazing.  But most of all my back pain is GONE!....AMAZING!

So glad you are getting your drains out Monday...Nurse told me I should have took 2 percocet and I had not eaten but as Dr. and I were talking he was taking it out and it did not hurt at all.

If you ever had a urine catheter in your bladder post-op, it is the same feeling with the drains coming out.

Hi ladies . . . ummmmm, how much was your panniculectomy?  Sorry, just asking - understandable if you don't want to answer.

For me, insurance covered it - so a single $15 co-pay.  The plastic surgeon quoted me $9100 hospital-inclusive for self-pay.
